Job summary

SafePlace Corporation in Downtown PHX is seeking a DTA Program Supervisor to lead an adult day program dedicated to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role requires strong leadership, program coordination, and hands-on supervision of DSPs to ensure safety and meaningful activities.

The incumbent will oversee daily operations, coordinate scheduling, and ensure ISP goals and behavior plans are followed, while maintaining strong communication with families and Support Coordinators.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience supervising DSPs.
• Experience with ISP implementation and documentation.
• Arizona DDD experience preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to lead a DTA program and coordinate activities.
• Meet applicable Arizona DDD employment and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the DTA team.
• Conduct daily staff huddles.
• Assign staff according to member ratios and needs.
• Ensure members participate in meaningful programming.
• Train and develop DSPs.
• Observe staff performance and provide coaching.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completion.
• Ensure ISP goals and behavior plans are followed.
• Respond to incidents and member-safety concerns.
• Maintain an inspection-ready program.
• Develop activities, community integration, life-skills programming.
• Work with program leadership to improve the DTA.
