Job summary

AJ’s Safe Place, Downtown Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced DTA Program Supervisor to lead an adult developmental-disabilities day program with safety and professionalism at its core.

You will supervise the team, organize programming, train staff, ensure ISP goals and behavior plans are followed, coordinate transportation, and prepare for DDD monitoring visits while keeping families informed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the DTA team.
• Conduct daily staff huddles and assign staff by member needs.
• Ensure meaningful programming and active participation for members.
• Train and develop DSPs; provide coaching as needed.
• Review documentation for accuracy and ISP/behavior plan adherence.
• Coordinate transportation and community outings.
• Prepare for DDD monitoring visits and inspections.
• Communicate with families, coordinators, and management.
