Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Test and Evaluation Engineer to support AFNWC/NCC at Offutt AFB, NE. The role focuses on software quality assurance, test planning, and independent DT&E activities. You will review code, develop test cases, coordinate with government program offices and external agencies, and lead readiness reviews.

U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI eligibility are required. The position is full-time and on-site at Offutt AFB with occasional coordination across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on software design and coding experience.
• Understanding of Agile software methodology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform Software Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with defined quality specifications.
• Review source code and configuration files and provide resolution support.
• Implement coding tasks for features and functional/performance tests.
• Lead planning and execution of independent government test & evaluation (DT&E).
• Coordinate test events with program offices and external agencies.
• Lead Test Readiness and Production Readiness Reviews.
