Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC is seeking a System Engineer to support the AFNWC/NCC Analysis IPT at Offutt AFB, NE. The role involves maintaining architecture artifacts, enabling agile software delivery, and coordinating with government and contractor teams to ensure program success.

The candidate will engage in system analysis, requirements tracing, and certification activities for complex software systems, with emphasis on DoD processes and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience with the DoD and AF acquisition processes; TS w/ SCI eligibility.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and hands-on software design experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methods, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common architecture products describing Application Software Service for SMPES.
• Review design and development specifications and maintain artifacts in the systems engineering process.
• Track Agile backlog, releases, and program metrics; manage Jira data.
• Support software delivery, installation, testing, and production readiness.
• Provide compliance reviews and participate in program management briefings.
• Assist in security evaluations and coordination with various stakeholders.
