Job summary

Apogee seeks a System Engineer to support the AFNWC/NCC Combatant Command, C2 Division, Analysis IPT. Location is Offutt AFB, NE; on-site work with TS/SCI eligibility required. Responsibilities include architecture maintenance, design reviews, agile backlog tracking in Jira, and program documentation.

The candidate will work with government engineers to ensure software integration, testing, and production readiness, while aligning with DoD processes and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen
• Security clearance: TS w/SCI eligibility
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and AF programs

Responsibilities

• Maintain architecture artifacts describing Application Software Service within SMPES.
• Review design and program specifications and maintain associated artifacts.
• Track agile backlog, backlogs and program-level metrics in Jira.
• Assist in the delivery, installation, configuration, testing, and production readiness of software.
• Support program documentation and briefings for management reviews.
