Job summary

Rocket Lab USA, a leading space company, seeks a Senior Manager, Signal Processing onsite in Long Beach, CA. You will drive DSP algorithm development, design digital payloads, and lead a small team to deliver flight-ready software and hardware for radar and comms systems.

You will liaise with hardware, FPGA, and software teams while guiding program reviews and documentation, ensuring on-time performance under demanding space missions.

Qualifications

• Experience with DSP algorithms and system design in space electronics.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (SPI, PCIe, Ethernet) and DSP fundamentals.
• Track record of owning technical programs end-to-end and delivering hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering processes for new algorithms development and milestones.
• Lead DSP algorithm development roadmap and product documentation.
• Mentor engineers and grow a DSP team of 3-4 members.
• Coordinate with hardware, FPGA, and software teams to deliver flight-ready products.
• Support customer reviews and TRRs; ensure schedules are met.
