Job summary

ACL Digital in El Segundo, CA seeks a seasoned RF/digital satellite engineer to shape next generation systems. You will design, implement, and verify multi-rate DSP algorithms, perform system trade studies, and support payload integration from unit tests to in-orbit operations.

You should have a BS in engineering, 5+ years in digital communications, and 3+ years with MATLAB/Simulink, plus FPGA/ASIC exposure. Leadership of teams and R&D efforts is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field required.
• Experience with DSP and digital communications algorithms.
• 3+ years with MATLAB or Simulink.
• 5+ years in core digital communications and signal processing.
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience.
• 1+ years with FPGAs or ASICs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop next generation RF/digital satellite systems.
• Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point DSP algorithms.
• Analyze performance of signal processing models.
• Lead waveform development, characterization and trade studies.
• Support integration and test from unit to in-orbit operations.
• Assist HDL-level design and verification.
• Lead teams and R&D activities.
