Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID is seeking a Senior Dry Etch Equipment Engineer to advance our dry etch manufacturing capabilities within a high-growth semiconductor environment.

You will install, qualify, maintain, and optimize dry etch tools, collaborate with process engineers, and drive TPM to improve yield and uptime. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering, safety and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience with Dry Etch equipment.
• BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent military/AAS with 5+ years experience.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation and qualification of dry etch equipment in the cleanroom.
• Dry etch equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related issues affecting production.
• Use project management skills to complete milestones closing hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies.
• Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement and drive equipment metrics.
• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies.
