Job summary

3000 Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC is seeking a Senior Dry Etch Equipment Engineer to improve manufacturing processes. The role includes managing dry etch equipment, conducting performance analysis, and collaborating with engineering teams.

Job description

Senior Dry Etch Equipment Engineer

At Micron Technology, you will play a meaningful role in improving our manufacturing processes by focusing on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of Dry Etch equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and qualification of cutting‑edge dry etch equipment in our new cleanroom.
• Manage dry etch equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment‑related issues affecting production.
• Use project management skills to complete project milestones that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies.
• Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement and drive best‑in‑class equipment metrics.
• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with Dry Etch equipment.
• BS or Masters in the Engineering field, equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in data science and programming skills.
