Job summary

1000 Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Wet Etch Equipment Engineer in Boise, Idaho. You will play a key role in enhancing manufacturing processes by installing, maintaining, and optimizing wet etching equipment, working with cross-functional teams to solve problems and improve efficiency.

Job description

Senior Wet Etch Equipment Engineer

With a strong focus on safety and quality, you will play a meaningful role in improving our manufacturing processes by focusing on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of wet etching equipment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to solve equipment issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency and yield.

Responsibilities

• Installation and qualification of industry-leading wet process equipment in our new cleanroom.


• Wet process equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.


• Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related issues affecting production.


• Use project management skills to complete project milestones that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies.


• Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement, driving best-in-class equipment metrics.


• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with Wet Process Equipment.


• BS or Masters in the Engineering field, equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Proficient in Data Science and Programming skills.
