Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC - A57 is seeking a Sr. Repair Technician for its Prime Air operation in Fort Wayne, IN. You will maintain drones and support critical flight readiness, working with engineering and flight ops to ensure safe, compliant performance.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing up to 12 hours, and travel up to 25%. You will train and mentor technicians and may supervise shifts across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Train and mentor other Repair Technicians.
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
