Job summary

Amazon Prime Air seeks an experienced Sr. Repair Technician to maintain drone fleets at the commercial operation site. You will work with engineering and flight operations to ensure airworthiness, lead technician training, and ensure safety in all tasks.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long shifts, and travel up to 25%. You will operate in varied environments, including outdoor and refrigerated settings, and must pass DOT and export control checks where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Carry/lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Work environment with variable temperatures, outdoors and refrigerated conditions.
• Good attendance and punctuality record.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics.
• Verify FAA regulations compliance and Prime Air directives.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Train and mentor Repair Technicians.
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow technical manuals and procedures.
