Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking an experienced Sr. Repair Technician in Ocala, FL to maintain drone aircraft, ensuring conformance to design and safe operation. You will collaborate with engineering and flight ops, train the Repair Technician team, and oversee shift rosters at the commercial operation site.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mechanical/electrical integration, mentoring experience, and proficiency with MS Office and CAD drawings. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (MS Office).
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Train and mentor other Repair Technicians.
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
