Job summary

Amazon's Prime Air team in Durham, NC is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead drone maintenance at the commercial operation site. You will ensure aircraft conform to design and operate safely, working closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams.

Responsibilities include driving maintenance, training technicians, managing parts, and scheduling shifts. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work up to 12 hours, travel up to 25%, and comply with FAA and DOT

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics.
• Verify FAA regulations and Prime Air processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Train and mentor Repair Technicians.
• Oversee shift roster and supervise technicians.
