Job summary

Amazon’s Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician to maintain drones and ensure aircraft conform to design and safety standards. You will work with engineering and flight operations to execute maintenance tasks and monitor fleet performance.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, long shifts, and travel up to 25%. FAA compliance and adherence to Prime Air procedures are essential. Starting pay includes base hourly rate with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
