Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an Emergency Management Drill and Exercise Planner to join the Emergency Management organization in Idaho Falls. The role focuses on planning, developing, and improving drill and exercise processes in accordance with HSEEP and DOE requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating annual and long-term drills, developing scenarios, and overseeing the exercise development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with several years of experience.
• Experience translating operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (US citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate annual and 5-year drill schedules.
• Review drill packages and reports before signature/submission.
• Develop exercise scope, objectives and scenarios.
• Coordinate personnel for drills (player, controller, evaluator, observer).
• Lead exercise development teams and ensure DOE/HSEEP alignment.
