AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking an experienced Coding Auditor to perform high-risk inpatient and outpatient audits, validate DRG/IPPS/APC classifications, and ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement. The role requires extensive ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS knowledge, with collaboration across CDI and medical staff.

Requires 6+ years of acute care coding and 4+ years of auditing experience. Associates degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s preferred in healthcare field.
• 6+ years in acute care inpatient or outpatient hospital coding.
• 4+ years auditing experience.

Responsabilités

• Conduct pre-bill high-risk audits across inpatient and outpatient encounters.
• Performs advanced DRG validation and clinical documentation alignment.
• Review and validate ICD-10-CM/PCS or CPT/HCPCS and modifier usage.
• Collaborate with CDI, physicians, and coding teams to resolve complex documentation.
