Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced drainage engineer to lead the development and delivery of highway drainage and stormwater projects in Florida. You will perform calculations, create plans and cost estimates, and coordinate with FDOT and sub-consultants to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Florida PE and 8+ years of drainage design experience, with familiarity in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR, and related stormwater modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of drainage design experience required.
• Florida PE license is required.
• FDOT drainage design experience with Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR v3/v4, ASAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop highway and interstate drainage and stormwater improvement projects.
• Direct and/or perform drainage engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project staff, FDOT, and reviewers for quality control.
• Manage project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Drive client development and foster client relationships.
• Lead and/or assist in proposals, scope of work, and fee schedules.
• Attend on-site and off-site client meetings.
