Egis is seeking a senior drainage design engineer in North Carolina to advance highway and interstate drainage projects, collaborating with public and private clients to deliver stormwater solutions across transportation infrastructure.

Qualified candidates bring NC PE, BSCE, 8+ years of experience and proficiency with Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR; opportunity to lead proposals and client relationships while working on-site in Raleigh.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of drainage design experience.
• North Carolina PE is required.
• BSCE is required.
• NCDOT drainage design experience with Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR v3/v4, ASAD.
• Experience in proposals, scope of work and fee schedules is a plus.
• Able to prepare or assist in client reporting and status updates.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the development of highway and interstate drainage and stormwater improvement projects.
• Direct and/or perform drainage engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, FDOT, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Responsible for client development and fostering a relationship with clients.
• Lead and/or assist in proposal, scope of work, and fee schedule preparation.
• Attend on-site and off-site client meetings throughout North Carolina.
