Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer/Manager to lead transportation drainage projects for public sector clients. You will manage design teams, perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, BMP design, and stormwater permitting, while coordinating with civil staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Biosystems Engineering is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of drainage design experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and development of drainage projects for transportation infrastructure.
• Assist with development/management of drainage projects for public sector clients.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, BMP design, and stormwater permitting.
• Design and layout roadway drainage systems.
• Review plans, specs, and estimates; ensure alignment with standards.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet objectives.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Maintain relationships with clients and ensure compliance with policies.
