Egis, formerly Lochner, is hiring a Senior Drainage Engineer to lead highway drainage and stormwater projects across North Florida. The role supports hybrid remote work or Tallahassee office, with a focus on design excellence and client collaboration.

Ideal candidate brings 8+ years of drainage experience, Florida PE, and BSCE, plus FDOT design experience and proficiency in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of drainage design experience required.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.
• Must be located in North Florida.
• FDOT drainage design experience with Microstation, Open Roads Designer, ICPR v3/v4, ASAD, and other stormwater modeling software.

Responsabilités

• Develop highway and interstate drainage and stormwater improvement projects.
• Directly perform drainage engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project staff, FDOT, reviewers and sub-consultants to ensure quality.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, budgets, and client reporting; lead proposals and meetings.
