Job summary

Puget Sound Energy seeks a Senior Engineering Specialist - Drafting to develop complex engineering plans and lead drafting activities. You will work with AutoCAD/AUD to prepare designs, standards and studies while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes data management, project leadership, and adherence to safety, regulatory, and corporate standards. Candidates should bring strong communication skills and a track record in drafting leadership.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent, or 3–5 years of relevant experience, or 8+ years total experience.
• Strong knowledge in the subject area and related disciplines.
• Excellent organization and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and direct engineering plans in AutoCAD and AUD.
• Develop studies to identify objectives and investments.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers on requirements.
• Document tasks, calculations and reports for projects.
• Lead drafting standards and reviews; mentor others.
