Job summary

Campos EPC in Tampa seeks a senior Electrical Designer to lead design and drafting efforts on complex projects within the oil and gas sector. You will support Project Managers and engineers, develop electrical layouts, 3D models, and CAD deliverables from concept through detail design, while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires at least 10 years of design experience, familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and related CAD tools, and a proven ability to supervise

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 10 years of design experience.
• Oil & gas industry experience desirable.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in drafting.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Engineers on design, drafting and mapping deliverables.
• Coordinate drafting staff to align with project schedules and priorities.
• Develop complex electrical layouts, 3D modeling and CAD deliverables from concept to detail design.
• Check and ensure designs meet industry standards and safety requirements.
• Evaluate CAD tools and implement efficiency improvements.
