Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Technical Training Program Manager to design, develop, and deliver training for AutoCAD and Automated Utility Design (AUD) applications, aligning programs with business goals and safety/regulatory requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate complex technical content into learning modules, and manage programs end-to-end, including deployment, measurement, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of related experience in training and development or a similar field.
• Experience translating highly technical content into effective learning solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional teams to develop training materials for AutoCAD and AUD processes.
• Develops programs that support business objectives and operational needs.
• Evaluates user needs, identifies knowledge gaps, and suggests learning solutions.
• Translates complex processes into accessible training content with appropriate methods.
• Serves as a trusted advisor on training strategy and workforce development.
• Develops programs to enhance data retrieval, analysis, reporting and visualization capabilities.
• Coordinates with IT for new or upgraded implementations and related projects.
• Identifies risks and mitigation actions; builds metrics to measure training effectiveness.
• Wisely manages budgets, scope, and vendor relationships; mentors peers.
