Job summary

Avid Bioservices is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Associate - Downstream to drive the production of life-changing biopharmaceuticals. In this pivotal full-time role, you will support manufacturing schedule requirements, mentor junior associates, and be involved in virus purification processes in a state-of-the-art facility.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Biotechnology, Biology, or Chemistry and over 2 years of experience in GMP manufacturing. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in GMP manufacturing of biologics, previous experience in downstream process is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of GMP, FDA and EMA regulatory requirements applicable to Biologics.
• Proven logic and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support prioritizing manufacturing schedule requirements and execute daily schedule.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Conduct analytical tests in addition to filter integrity testing.
• Train junior level manufacturing associates.
• Ensure cleanrooms are maintained and audit ready.
