Avid Bioservices, a biopharmaceutical CDMO, invites an Associate Scientist to design and optimize downstream purification processes for monoclonal antibody development. The role emphasizes transfer to manufacturing and cross-functional collaboration to meet clinical and commercial program goals.

Will contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and documentation for regulatory filings, with regular communication to teams and potential client interactions.

Qualifications

• PhD with preferred 2 years of process development experience.
• Master's with minimum 2 years; preferred 4 years of process development and/or similar experience.
• Bachelor's with minimum 4 years; preferred 6 years of process development and/or similar experience.

Responsabilités

• Designs, optimizes, scales and transfers downstream processes for mAb development programs.
• Performs bench-scale experiments across the end-to-end downstream drug substance process.
• Applies scientific and engineering principles to purification processes to support development and characterization.
• Designs experiments and analyzes results to draw meaningful conclusions.
• Communicates findings through oral presentations and GMP-compliant reports for regulatory filings.
• Collaborates with Process Development, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to implement viable solutions.
