Energy Transfer, a large U.S. energy company, is seeking a regulatory-focused professional to act as the company’s liaison with federal and state agencies during audits and inspections.

This role interfaces with management and multiple groups to obtain regulatory responses and ensure compliance across pipeline operations. The position requires experience with federal/state regulations, strong communication, and the ability to develop internal guidance and SOPs for regulatory programs.

Competenze

• Experience in the pipeline and energy industry.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR 191, 192, 194, 195 and 199 and related standards.
• Experience working with Federal and State regulatory agencies.
• SharePoint knowledge.

Mansioni

• Liaise between Energy Transfer and federal and state regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate preparation for regulatory compliance audits and act as a point of contact for inquiries, issues, and audits.
• Interact with internal staff, customers and agency personnel to complete regulatory requirements while maintaining positive relationships.
• Summarize regulations and provide internal guidance to staff and management.
• Perform internal pipeline safety compliance reviews.
• Represent Energy Transfer within Industry Organizations as needed.
• Interface with ET Management concerning Regulatory Activities.
• Maintain knowledge of current federal and state pipeline safety regulations.
• Interpret regulations and provide training to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Develop and maintain Company SOPs and other enterprise Compliance programs (e.g., Odorization, Critical Infrastructure, Pre-inspection)

Formazione

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
