Job summary

Ranger-Energy-Services- seeking a DOT Coordinator to support the DOT Manager with day-to-day DOT compliance, including GPS system administration, driver qualifications, hours of service, drug and alcohol testing, inspections, vehicle registrations and permits for all assigned areas and equipment.

Responsibilities include acting as local DER for DOT testing, maintaining qualification files, planning training, implementing ELDs and compliance programs, and providing safety training for entry-level

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree; two years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to deliver safety training to field employees.
• Able to work independently and motivated.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Oil and gas services industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local DER for DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Supervise, track, and maintain driver qualification files per FMCSR/DOT.
• Plan and execute training courses required of DOT drivers.
• Implement DOT programs such as ELDs and hours of service.
• Provide safety training to entry-level drivers to obtain CDL.
• Perform, maintain, and report Driver Risk Evaluations.
• Track, maintain and produce inspection due reports on district vehicles.
• Audit Vehicle Maintenance files per FMCSRs.
• Track and audit Driver/Vehicle Examinations from roadside inspections.
• Liaise with risk management on motor vehicle violations and incidents.
• Communicate DOT issues to district operations.
• Maintain internal processes for efficient DOT compliance.
• Ensure DOT-Hazmat compliance.
• Perform at least 20 Driver/Vehicle Safety & Compliance Inspections per month.
• Perform at least four site visits per quarter for audits.
• Travel 25% or more.
• Other duties as assigned.
