Job summary

Cornerstones, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Individual Giving to grow and strengthen relationships with individual donors through cultivation, stewardship, and engagement strategies.

You will manage a donor portfolio, support campaigns, and lead efforts to retain and upgrade donors, reporting to the Chief Development and Engagement Officer. You will supervise Development Associate staff, oversee donor data and gift processing, and partner with program and marketing teams to tell impact stories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in fundraising, nonprofit management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of fundraising, donor relations, account management, or related experience.
• Experience building donor relationships and managing staff is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and manage operations and data-driven strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Develop strategies to retain, upgrade, and deepen donor relationships including recurring giving.
• Identify opportunities to move donors through the giving pipeline and refer major prospects to leadership.
• Supervise Development Associate staff and oversee donor data, gift administration, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with marketing and program staff to create compelling donor communications and campaigns.
• Represent Cornerstones in donor meetings, events, and community engagement opportunities.
