City Year is seeking a Senior Manager, Individual Giving to lead donor strategy, segmentation, and stewardship in a hybrid NYC environment. This role supports the development team with data management, reporting, event kits, and pledge reminders while coordinating high-potential donors and board referrals.

The position targets donors at $10,000+ levels, with a portfolio spanning $750k–$1M annually and daily collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in individual giving or related fundraising.
• Authorized to work in United States.
• Criminal background clearance to work with school-age children.
• Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; donor-focused storytelling.
• City Year/AmeriCorps experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Donor acquisition, growth, segmentation, communications, and stewardship.
• Support ED/MD to manage donor portfolio totaling $750k–$1M annually.
• Cultivate and solicit new donors ($10,000+) as Red Jacket Society.
• Build pipeline via research, networking, and board referrals.
• Create tailored solicitation plans and multi-year commitments.
• Steward current donors and Red Jacket Society with personalized engagement.
• Implement tiered donor engagement to move givers up the ladder.
• Assist MD/ED with portfolios, multiple annual engagements.
• Maintain Salesforce call notes and giving histories.
• Track portfolio performance to inform strategy.
• Grow Investment Community and Engagement Boards by ~50%.
• Plan events and engagement activities; represent City Year externally.
• Collaborate across teams and with national development.
• Demonstrate growth mindset and align with City Year culture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
