Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Plasma Center Operations Supervisor to lead donor operations, manage staff, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced center. The role emphasizes phlebotomy expertise, process integrity, and team coaching to achieve throughput, quality, and productivity targets.

The position requires multiple certifications (phlebotomy, donor center, plasma processing, CPR) and about six years of related experience in a regulated plasma environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomist, Donor Center Technician, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer certifications required.
• CPR certification required.
• Typically 6 years of related experience in phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing.
• Ability to understand, explain, and follow SOPs and protocols.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated, high-volume medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as leader in the Center Manager's absence when assigned.
• Oversee donor operations and supervise staff during shifts.
• Coordinate staffing, break schedules, and team coaching.
• Create schedules to accommodate donor cycles.
• Maintain compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, CGMP and company procedures.
• Monitor donor flow and address delays or service issues.
• Submit timely and accurate reports and assist with donor center finances.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and cross-training staff.
• Promote safety, teamwork, and accountability.
