Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Domestic Supervisor to join the Hotel Services team. You will oversee Domestic Supervisors, manage staffing and training, and help maintain high cleanliness standards across multiple hospital sites.

The role offers flexible working potential and requires leadership, IT and change-management skills. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in Supervisory/Basic Management, strong numeracy/literacy, and NHS experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Supervisory/Basic Management Skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, machinery and processes.
• Experience at supervisory level.

Responsabilités

• Supervise Domestic Supervisors and allocate overtime.
• Ensure highest cleanliness standards per national norms.
• Daily work allocation to Domestic Supervisors.
• Implement Trust policies and procedures within the dept.
• Organise rotas, holidays and public holiday cover.
• Ensure staff appraisals are up to date.
• Record keeping and data input in the Trust system.
• Support Senior Hotel Services Managers and deputise when needed.
• Support delivery of high-quality Hotel Services and audits.
