Job summary

Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Domestic Supervisor to oversee a large team of Domestic Assistants across hospital and external clinics. You will supervise cleaning operations, conduct appraisals and returns-to-work interviews, and train new staff to uphold very high standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory, leadership and motivation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• IT skills essential to the role.
• Experience of working in domestic services environment.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Domestic Assistants to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Lead and train domestics in methods and safety procedures.
• Ensure timely PLB/appraisals for domestic staff and mandatory training.
