Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Hotel Services Co-ordinator at Arrowe Park Hospital. The role oversees Domestic Services to maintain a clean, safe healthcare environment in line with national standards.

You will supervise staff, ensure policies are followed, and maintain high standards of cleanliness with a focus on patient experience. The post requires good communication and flexibility, with supervisory experience desirable.

• Experience in a supervisory role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of domestic duties; check timekeeping, duties and standards.
• Organise cover for absences; adjust rotas; document overtime.
• Ensure departmental policies and procedures are followed (Health & Safety, Colour Coding, COSHH, Uniform).
• Ensure accidents/incidents are reported with required documentation.
• Process requisitions for reporting defects; monitor repairs.
• Maintain regular communication with wards/departments and Hotel Services Managers.
• Responsible for stock control in the area supervised.
• Train and assess new recruits; ensure compliance of relevant documentation.
