University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Healthcare Cleaners to join our Domestic Services team. You will provide a range of cleaning duties across wards and clinical areas, ensuring a safe, efficient and patient-focused environment.

Roles offer a variety of hours and require basic knowledge of cleaning standards, with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Full induction will be provided to support your contribution to exceptional NHS cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning standards across wards and clinical areas.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering NHS cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across wards and clinical areas to maintain hygiene and safety.
• Change curtains and bed curtains as required.
• Damp wipe all furniture, fixtures, fittings, walls, doors and panels.
• Observe The National Specifications for cleanliness in the NHS.
