Job summary

Veeam Software is seeking a Senior Domain Engineering Specialist to act as a highly technical overlay supporting named accounts in collaboration with CSEs, CSSs, and Sales. The role accelerates outcomes, derisks adoption, and enables complex expansions through deep product expertise.

You will engage CIOs/CISOs, lead design reviews, and guide resilience and modernization strategies across the Veeam Data Platform. A strong technical background and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years in advanced technical or architecture roles.
Depth in at least one product area or domain such as Security, Cloud, or AI.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized overlay expertise when advanced product or domain depth is required.
Lead solution design reviews, readiness assessments, and risk/maturity modeling.
Engage with CIO/CISO stakeholders on resilience, risk, and long-term roadmaps.
Support security, cloud, and AI expansion motions with Sales and CSE teams.
Monitor telemetry and maturity indicators to identify risk and expansion signals.
Validate architectures to derisk adoption and speed value realization.
Coordinate with Sales Engineering to balance pre- and post-sale depth.
