Job summary

SRC, Inc. seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to support DoW end-to-end WMD/HDBT programs. You will lead AoA/trade-off analyses, perform vulnerability assessments, and manage SE processes and master schedules. Collaboration across government, military, and contractor teams is essential.

Ideal candidates have a TS/SCI clearance (or eligible), a strong background in SE, and experience with DoD frameworks and MBSE tools. The role requires proactive problem solving and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or STEM related field
• 8+ years of experience
• Security clearance: TS/SCI or eligible at time of application

Responsibilities

• Support AoA and trade-off analyses to inform design decisions, requirements development, and risk management.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis and exploitation assessments using weapons effects models to evaluate performance.
• Develop and maintain the SE process framework and master schedule aligned with program milestones and DoW expectations.
• Perform gap analyses to identify deficiencies in modeling/simulation capabilities and propose actionable improvements.
• Assess design margins and provide data-driven recommendations for risk mitigation.
