Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, SME Level 4, to provide senior technical leadership for the BMC3I mission. The role involves system-of-systems integration, requirements development, interface management, and compliance across multiple programs and stakeholders.

The candidate must have extensive DoD experience, strong systems engineering judgment, and the ability to identify risks and deliver actionable recommendations to government leadership.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP access required.
• 15+ years of relevant DoD Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with system-of-systems integration and mission architecture.
• Experience developing and managing system requirements and baselines.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, and audit readiness.
• Knowledge of DoD systems engineering, cybersecurity, and ITSM processes.

Responsabilidades

• Advise Government leadership on complex systems engineering and compliance activities for BMC3I.
• Lead system-of-systems engineering across programs, platforms, and interfaces.
• Refine system requirements, baselines, architectures, and interfaces.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and performance gaps; propose mitigations.
• Support design reviews, test readiness reviews, and engineering decision forums.
• Assess interoperability and mission effectiveness using analyses and simulations.
• Coordinate with government, contractors, and partners to resolve issues.
• Manage system interfaces, data exchanges, and interoperability requirements.
• Oversee contractor delivery, engineering products, and technical approaches.
• Support audit readiness, evidence collection, and compliance workflows.
• Prepare audit-readiness reports and executive-level briefings.
