Job summary

ATSI in the United States is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer III to support NSWC Crane division. The role requires expert knowledge of DoD systems engineering policy and the ability to execute SETR processes.

The candidate will plan SETR events, develop engineering products and baselines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure traceability of technical requirements. A SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field per ABET accreditation.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Expert knowledge of DoD systems engineering policy.
• Ability to execute SETR processes.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Apply expert knowledge of DoD systems engineering policy across the program lifecycle.
• Plan, prepare for, and execute SETR events.
• Support development and refinement of systems engineering products, plans, and baselines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet and trace requirements.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and opportunities throughout the lifecycle.
• Support technical reviews and provide SME to government stakeholders and leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems engineering processes.
