Job summary

ATSI is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer III to support NSWC Crane. The role requires expert knowledge of DoD systems engineering policy and the ability to execute SETR processes, working with government stakeholders and program leadership in Crane, Indiana.

You will plan SETR events, refine engineering products, and collaborate across teams to ensure traceable requirements and risk management throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution in engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Expert knowledge of DoD systems engineering policy.
• Demonstrated ability to execute SETR processes.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Apply expert knowledge of DoD systems engineering policy across the program lifecycle.
• Plan, prepare for, and execute Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events.
• Support development and refinement of systems engineering products, plans, and technical baselines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are met and traceable.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and opportunities throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Support technical reviews and provide subject matter expertise to government stakeholders and program leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and best practices.
