Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Sr. Information System Security Engineer to support DoW SSP program offices at NSWC Crane, with regular travel to SPHQ. You will help design, implement, and integrate cybersecurity controls into SSP non-enterprise systems while aligning with risk and acquisition processes.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 5+ years of experience, and security clearances (TS/SCI preferred). Expect extensive collaboration with technical teams and travel to field activities up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• TS/SCI eligibility and interim security clearance requirements.
• Willingness to travel 40%+ and work onsite at NSWC Crane.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply system security requirements for large-scale projects.
• Support Program Office Technical Lead with ISSE discussions and issue tracking.
• Interact with customers via teleconferences and on-site meetings.
• Collaborate with SSP stakeholders and contractors on assessments and proposals.
• Develop System Security Plans detailing security controls for each information system.
• Support DoW Acquisition processes in SSP program documentation and evidence.
