Job summary
Raytheon Company, managed by Collins Aerospace at RTX, seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to support US DoD programs in Largo, FL. This onsite role requires a Secret clearance Day 1 and offers growth across the program lifecycle.
You will lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate systems, maintain CAM/EVMS processes, and ensure MIL-STD compliance while coordinating with management, engineering, supply chain and customers.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a DoD program as CAM.
- Experience with DoD systems engineering processes and MIL-STD compliance.
- Proven involvement in all program lifecycle phases.
Responsibilities
- Serve as CAM ensuring EVMS compliance and variance analysis.
- Manage scope, schedule, and cost of systems engineering efforts.
- Coordinate technical execution with program requirements and milestones.
- Develop detailed program plans with staffing forecasts and risk mitigation.
- Interface with program management, engineering, supply chain, and customers.
- Lead problem resolution, support design reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support proposal development including cost basis and BOEs.
