Job summary

DigitalCM is seeking a Senior Federal / DoD ProposalWriter to lead compliant, evaluator-focused proposals for U.S. Government opportunities.

This role requires translating complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive content and coordinating with executives, SMEs, and program personnel on-site in Tampa, FL. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of federal proposal writing, experience with Sections L/M and PWS/SOW/SOO, and strong MS Word/document-management skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional federal proposal-writing experience, with DoD exposure preferred.
• Experience writing proposals for U.S. Government customers.
• Strong understanding of the federal acquisition and competitive proposal process.
• Experience interpreting Sections L and M, PWS/SOW/SOO requirements, evaluation factors, and proposal instructions.
• Experience developing compliance matrices and annotated proposal outlines.
• Ability to translate technical content into polished proposal volumes.
• Experience developing past-performance and corporate-experience narratives.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought notices to determine eligibility and win probability.
• Compose and refine drafts of proposal responses, including executive summaries and technical, management, past performance sections.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.
• Interviews with executives, SMEs, instructors, developers, and program personnel to gather content.
• Convert technical concepts into persuasive, evaluator-focused language.
• Develop technical, management, staffing, past-performance, and executive-summary content.
