Job summary

DigitalCM is seeking a Senior Federal / DoD ProposalWriter to join on-site in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on translating complex technical capabilities into clear, compliant federal proposals, not general marketing copy.

You will lead RFP preparation, coordinate with executives and SMEs, and develop content across technical, management, past performance, and executive summaries; strong experience with the federal acquisition process and Sections L and M is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years federal proposal-writing experience; 7–10+ years preferred.
• Experience with U.S. Government proposals.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition and competitive process.
• Experience interpreting Sections L & M, PWS/SOW/SOO requirements.
• Experience developing compliance matrices and annotated outlines.
• Ability to writetechnical and management proposal volumes.
• Experience developing past-performance and corporate-experience narratives.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, grammar, organization, and document-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and rapidly changing proposal requirements.
• Ability to work directly with technical SMEs and convert interviews into polished proposal content.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Office skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive company and government information.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Comply with DoD 5220.22-M handling of classified material.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought to determine eligibility and win probability.
• Compose, refine, and review drafts of proposal responses including executive summaries, technical, management, and past performance sections.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise proposal language.
• Interpret contract requirements and communicate compliance approach in verbal and presentation formats.
• Interview executives and SMEs to obtain required proposal information.
• Convert technical concepts into concise, persuasive, evaluator-focused language.
• Develop content for technical, management, staffing, past-performance, and executive-summary sections.
• Track solicitations, recompetes, RFIs, Sources Sought notices, and agency forecasts.
• Position DigitalCM capabilities against anticipated government requirements.
