Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s preferred but optional.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with 1–3+ years supervisory experience on DoD or federal programs.
• Experience as Project Engineer, Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Chief Engineer in aerospace/defense.
• Must be able to qualify and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead and oversee end-to-end multi-discipline engineering from requirements to deployment.
• Translate mission needs into executable technical solutions.
• Interface with government customers, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
• Lead system architecture, design reviews, trade studies, and technical decision-making.
• Ensure designs are scalable, secure, and DoD-compliant.
• Balance scope, schedule, cost with technical performance.
• Develop and manage technical baselines, schedules, and risk plans.
• Mentor engineers and establish technical standards.
