Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of defense industry experience, with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of defense industry experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret Security Clearance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electrical systems, circuits, and components per project requirements.
• Perform load calculations and power distribution analyses to meet standards.
• Build prototypes, test, troubleshoot, and support production integration.
• Prepare detailed wiring diagrams and design specifications for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate systems.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEC, SAE and regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on new electrical engineering technologies and propose improvements.
• Plan and conduct tests to verify performance and reliability.
