Job summary

American Electronics, Inc. (Amelex) is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the organizational SME on FAR/DFAR within DoD/DoN acquisition programs. The role supports Dam Neck Activity (DNA) procurement and contract processes, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

The candidate will manage complex contract packages, coordinate requirements, review documents, and produce POA&Ms and status briefs. An active Secret clearance is required; DAWIA/FAC-COR Level I preferences are noted.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of DoD/DoN large acquisition management experience.
• Strong background in DoN/DoD contract development processes and artifacts.
• Knowledge of NAVSEA, FAR, and DFAR processes and lifecycle.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Preferred DAWIA Contracting Level I or FAC-COR Level I.

Responsibilities

• Serve as organizational SME on the FAR and DFAR series to support the Dam Neck Activity (DNA) in procuring goods and services.
• Provide daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support in the development of large contract packages.
• Support requirements stakeholders across the Department by developing clear, concise, and unambiguous contract requirements.
• Review and recommend corrections to contracting documents to ensure quality and alignment with technical requirements.
• Coordinate and attend meetings as required; generate Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and status reports.
