Job summary

Amyx is seeking a Contract Analyst to support the DHA NCR-CD Team in Falls Church, VA. The role involves in-depth acquisition management across all phases, applying FAR/DFARS and DoD directives to ensure compliant contracting and pricing analyses.

The successful candidate will have a 4-year degree with relevant coursework and at least 5 years Federal procurement experience, along with strong communication and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 24 credit hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of direct Federal procurement experience serving as a Federal government and/or contractor employee in the GS-1102 series or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Federal and DoD acquisition procedures (FAR/DFARS).
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of all phases of acquisition management.
• Extensive knowledge of federal and DoD contracting principles (FAR/DFARS, DoD directives and instructions).
• Knowledge of price and cost analysis to review proposals for price reasonableness.
• Develop concrete action plans to solve problems through fact-finding and analysis.
• Contract writing system PD2 experience is preferred but not required.
• Communicate accurate information clearly in writing and verbally.
