Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Network Engineer in Virginia to support a DoD program for AFLCMC. You will translate requirements into secure, resilient network solutions and lead lifecycle activities from design to deployment across multiple locations.

This on-site role requires DoD experience, TS/SCI readiness, and strong routing/switching, firewall, and VPN skills while collaborating with cybersecurity engineers to ensure Zero Trust alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree +8 years experience in network engineering.
• Master’s degree +6 years experience acceptable.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of OSI/TCP/IP and routing protocols.
• DoD or regulated environment experience preferred.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain SCI.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed network architectures aligned with DoD, AF requirements.
• Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VPNs.
• Support DoD security requirements and RMF/STIGs.
• Produce network documentation and BOMs.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with procurement and site surveys.
