Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Defense Enclave Services team at Fort Meade, MD. This role supports a DISA enterprise IT migration and design effort aimed at consolidating DoD IT services into a single service provider model.

You will plan secure network solutions, partner with stakeholders, design WAN/LAN, support accreditation artifacts, and work with DoD standards; clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience; degree may be substituted per policy.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; Top Secret ability preferred.
• CCNA or equivalent certification; DoD IAT Level II (Security+) or equivalent prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design secure network solutions for enterprise consolidation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture legacy environment requirements and develop designs.
• Design WAN/LAN connectivity including underlay/overlay and COI transport.
• Provide secure access solutions using wired and wireless technologies.
• Incorporate capacity planning and scaling in network designs.
• Identify dataflow, firewall rules, and ACLs for migration to enterprise service.
• Support IP addressing across IPv4/IPv6.
• Assist with accreditation artifacts and DoD compliance.
